When claims go unpaid, that's exactly where we pitch in. Even a small percentage of unpaid claims can amount to a lot of your money. In most cases, the money you save by hiring Smart Billing Services and having us take charge of getting your claims paid will greatly exceed the fees paid to us.

Our billing professionals have many years of experiences; we put the expertise to use to get your claims paid. We are meticulous and follow up on all claims. You can turn the worry over to us. Our reports are always available to you and are highly customizable based on your preference. You have access to aging, claims status, patient demographics, and more at the click of a mouse in all practice management system. If you have Excel 2007 or later, with a free add-on, you can create almost any report you can imagine. Or, we can send you the reports each month once after the month is closed or as needed.

FULL & SECURE ACCESS TO ALL INFORMATION

All of the information for your practice and all reports are available 24/7 in the practice management system. All your information available with us is secure, encrypted and fully HIPAA compliant, and we offer a range of methods for exchanging data. Included with our billing packages we offer a free electronic health record options.

GETTING STARTED

We will work with you to make the start up process as painless as possible. For most practices it takes 1 to 3 months from when you sign our contract until you "go live". We work with you every step of the way to ensure a smooth transition. Whether you have decided that our Standard or Individualized services best meet your needs, when you are ready to get stated, we will send you a start up packet.

This packet includes forms in which you can give us the information about your practice and providers. It also includes our contract and the other forms to help you get started. You complete this packet and send it back to us, with a startup fee of $200 per provider (max of $1,500 for 8 providers for credentialing process). We are able to work with you to migrate existing patient demographics from most practice management systems.

PRICING

We have three different pricing options under our Standard plan: 5%, 6% and 7%. Our pricing is based on how much we collect for you, on average per claim billed, as well as the size of your practice. Please note: this is the amount you receive, not the amount you bill out. Talk to us, or try our free price quote to see if you qualify for one of our Standard low cost services.

Some of our customers have more specialized needs and prefer a more customized package of services. Our Individualized services are a good choice for those practices. The individualized plan allows us to design customized services which are tailored to meet the specialized needs of your particular practice.
